Little Kicks

I am about to go into my 18th week of pregnancy and they say that you should begin to feel the baby kicking. Last night I rolled over in the middle of the night and I could feel little Micah moving all around, it was such an amazing feeling!! God is such a miracle worker!
Psalm 139:13
You shaped me first inside, then out; you formed me in my mother's womb. I thank you, High God—you're breathtaking! Body and soul, I am marvelously made! I worship in adoration—what a creation! You know me inside and out, you know every bone in my body; You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit, how I was sculpted from nothing into something. Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth; all the stages of my life were spread out before you, The days of my life all prepared before I'd even lived one day.
Our Heavenly Father is so very interested in our lives and will be as involved as we will allow him to be. What an amazing God we serve!

Living BIG for God

Ryan and I found out that we were expected early this year, which was a surprise to us! God has blessed us with a wonderful little boy who will be here in Septmeber. I have been praying for the past year about what exatly I am to be doing with my life and what God has gifted me with. Since this little one has entered the picture it has caused Ryan and I both to dream more. I know that God gave us an adventurous spirit and we are willing to go where ever it is God wants to send us. God has linked us up with a small group we meet with once a week. All of the couples have similar desires to following Christ and live our lives completly wasted on him.
I began praying that God would give me a cause for my life and the Lord reminded me of a conference I went to in high School. They talked about girls in Thailand who are sold into the sex indutsry. I told myself that night I wanted to be a part of helping these girls in some way. That desire has never went away. I am ready to step out in anyway God is leading. I know our little guy God blessed us with will have a heart after God and I want him to grow up see his parents actively serving God and helping people.
The scripture God keeps giving me is Eph 3:20 God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us. (The message)
